Coastal Art The feel of the ocean is something that everyone can relate to.  The sound of the crashing waves, the salty air of the surf and the deep colour is universal. I'm attracted to seascapes because of the contrast in colour that Tasmanian beaches offer.  From the turquoise ocean and pure white sand of the East Coast to the rugged orange boulders combined with the relentless ocean on the West Coast.  For such a small island, Tasmania offers such vast differences of coast, all with their own personality.
