Rivers and Lakes

I love fly fishing.  This passion takes me to some beautiful areas of Tasmania. 

Crystal clear mountain streams to remote Highland Tarns.  I want the viewer of these works to feel the way I do about them.  I hope to express this passion for these beautiful waterways in my paintings.

Fishing is nearly always interrupted for some photos or a sketch of a location that I just have to capture.  I love the challenge of painting crystal clear water, the way it's all reflection and the effect of the water on the stream bed.

I will continue painting rivers and lakes, always trying to perfect the challenge of painting water.
